PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
PROPOSED RIVER EDGE REDEVELOPMENT ZONE DESIGNATION
CITY OF LASALLE, ILLINOIS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that as part of the regular City of LaSalle, Illinois City Council meeting scheduled to commence at 6:30 p.m. on April 27, 2026, at City Hall, 745 Second Street, LaSalle, Illinois, the City of LaSalle, Illinois will hold a public hearing to consider the designation of a River Edge Redevelopment Zone (RERZ) pursuant to the Illinois River Edge Redevelopment Zone Act (65 ILCS 115 et seq.).

The purpose of the public hearing regarding the River Edge Redevelopment Zone (RERZ) is to receive comments from interested persons regarding:

  • The proposed creation of a River Edge Redevelopment Zone
  • The proposed boundaries of the Zone
  • Local plans, programs, and tax incentives to be implemented within the Zone
  • The potential impacts of the Zone on the community

A description and map of the proposed River Edge Redevelopment Zone are available for public inspection at LaSalle City Hall during normal business hours.

Following the public hearing, the City Council at said regular City Council meeting on April 27, 2026, or thereafter, may consider action on the designation of the River Edge Redevelopment Zone and related matters.
