"Operation Migration: Animal Explorers with Forest Park Nature Center"

On Thursday, October 18th at 6:00 p.m., the La Salle Public Library will host Naturalists from Forest Park Nature Center, when they present, "Operation Migration: Animal Explorers."  

In this unique and interactive program, families will discover native animals that travel by land, air and sea.   Park Naturalists will discuss adaptations of migratory animals and the dangers and benefits of migration.   Audience members can try their hand at the Great Migration Game and even meet a live migratory animal.   

This program is free and open to the public and is made possible through funding by the Alwin C. Carus Trust.  Children under the age of 8 years old must be accompanied by an adult.   For more information, contact the Library at 815-223-2341.
