"Winter Backyard Bird Watching" at La Salle Public Library
On Tuesday, December 8th at 6:00 p.m., the La Salle Public Library will virtually host Master Naturalist and Natural Resource Coordinator, Lisa Sons when she presents an insightful presentation of backyard bird watching and feeding during the winter season.
The presentation will offer insights into identifying winter feathered friends, and the amazing ways that they survive frigid temperatures. Lisa will provide information on how to tempt feathered friends to return to backyard feeders throughout the winter, and how to craft do-it-yourself feeders. Birdwatching is a hobby that can be enjoyed any time of year, on a hike, in the backyard, and even through a kitchen window. The presentation will offer information on how to get started.
This program is free, open to the public. It will be presented virtually. To receive the Zoom link, please register by going to: https://bit.ly/332VxnJ.
