"Fall Colors and Trees" at La Salle Public Library
On Tuesday, October 20th at 6:00 p.m., the La Salle Public Library will virtually host Illinois Department of Natural Resources Coordinator and University of Illinois Extension Master Naturalist, Lisa Sons, when she presents, "Fall Colors and Trees."
Everyone enjoys seeing that pop of color that covers the landscape and woodland canopies during the fall season. In this educational informative program, Lisa Sons will explore the beautiful fall colors that are found at Starved Rock State Park, and will provide tips on how to identify various Illinois trees. Additionally, the audience will learn the magical science behind the question-why do leaves change colors in the fall. At the end of the program, Lisa will answer audience questions via live chat.
This program is free, open to the public. In order to gain access to the program, individuals are asked to register by going to this link - https://bit.ly/3iLSq8M.
