The City of La Salle will hold a public hearing on Thursday, April 30, 2020 at 4:30 pm via teleconferencing to provide interested parties an opportunity to express their views on the proposed Downstate Small Business Stabilization Program (DSBSP) application funded by the State of Illinois Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds.
The City of La Salle intends to apply to the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO) on behalf of Pipevision Products Inc., Fast Pipe Lining Inc., and Crawford Pet Enterprises Inc. for a $25,000 grant per applicant business, from the State CDBG program to be used towards working capital for businesses that have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
General information related to this program is available for review prior to the public hearing on the City of La Salle’s website at www.lasalle-il.gov/covid and each business’ application will be available for viewing from 3:00-5:00 pm on April 30, 2020 at www.lasalle-il.gov/covid. Interested citizens are invited to provide comments or questions at the public hearing or via email to Leah Inman no later than 4:00 pm on April 28, 2020 to ensure placement of such comments in the official record of the public hearing proceedings.
