"Great British Baking Tour....Holiday Edition" at La Salle Public Library

On Saturday, November 23rd, at 2:00 p.m., the La Salle Public Library will host culinary travel guide, Claire Evans, when she presents, "Great British Baking Tour....Holiday Edition".  

In this unique and delicious presentation, Claire will take the audience on a delightful baking tour of the United Kingdom inspired by the television show "The Great British Baking Show."  The audience will sample classic British baked goods and desserts, like Christmas pudding and Blackberry/Apple crumble, have a proper cup of tea, and learn more the desserts' origins and the particular parts of the United Kingdom they hail from.   

Claire Evans was lucky enough to marry a charming Englishman and move to the United Kingdom for several years where she traded her life as a criminal prosecutor for touring stately homes and mastering the art of roundabout driving.   She is a United Kingdom travel and relocation expert between cups of tea at her home in Peoria, IL.
