"Bookworm Buddy Workshop at the La Salle Public Library"

On Saturday, February 23rd, the La Salle Public Library will host Home Depot in offering two free workshops for youth ages 4 through 12 years.   In these hands-on workshops, youth will make their own Bookworm Buddy Bookends.   All supplies and tools will be provided by Home Depot.  Participants will receive a Certificate of Achievement, a Workshop Apron, and a commemorative pin, courtesy of Home Depot, a gift book, courtesy of First Book, and a take-home snack, courtesy of District 122, La Salle Schools. 

The workshops will be offered at 2:00 p.m. and again at 3:00 p.m. Both sessions are free; open to the public, but require registration, as space is limited to 30 participants per session.   Children under the age of 8 years must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.   All parents are welcome, and encouraged to participate in the fun; some children may need help with reading/following directions and/or with property using tools.   For more information or to register, please contact the Library at 815-223-2341.
