"Herb Gardening & Tasting for Kids" at the La Salle Public Library

On Thursday, July 26th, at 6:00 p.m. the La Salle Public Library will host University of Illinois Extension Office facilitator, Robbin Keenan and staff from Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) when they present, "Herb Gardening & Tasting for Kids." 

In this program, participants will be introduced to "every day" herbs via sight, smell, touch and taste.  Families will learn a little of the amazing history of herbs, and then sample a variety of these flavorful plants by dipping fresh vegetables into herb-based dips.
