Families are invited to join in with reading to the Reading Dogs at the La Salle Public Library. Every month, several Reading Dogs and their humans visit the library; there, the dogs are entertained with stories read by children. Pre-readers, struggling readers, proficient readers - the dogs truly enjoy all of the stories. Kids choose a favorite short book and read aloud for about 5 minutes. Usually, the children will have more than one opportunity to read.
