"I am a Scientist!" Hands-On Learning Fun at La Salle Library
April "I am a Scientist!" at the La Salle Public Library is especially for children, ages 4 through 9, with a parent or an adult caregiver. These approximately hour-long programs are designed to provide children with fun hands-on science learning that gives children the confidence to explore and discover.
On Saturday, April 14th, at 10:00 a.m., the Library will host Earth Day Science. Celebrate Earth Day! In this program, participants will learn about our great planet, from the core to the exosphere, create a layered model of Earth using clay, explore the water cycle and be amazed when neodymium magnets extract iron from garden dirt.
This program is free and open to the public. Please call the Library for more information at 815-223-2341.
