Family Night: Picture Book Puppet Tales at La Salle Public Library
On Thursday, March 15th at 6:00 p.m., the La Salle Public Library will host Clothespin Puppets when they perform picture-book favorites - stories sure to delight kids and families. Clothespin Puppets is an unusual organization dedicated to promoting the arts and art education and literature, all via storytelling brought to life with puppets. Offering one of a kind shows that are custom adaptation of popular children's literature as well as original stories, Clothespin Puppets provides an entertaining and educational enrichment program every time they perform.
This program is free and open to the public and is made possible through funding from the Alwin C. Carus Trust. Grab and go take home snacks will be handed out at the desk after the show, courtesy of District 122 La Salle Schools. Each child will receive a gift book courtesy of First Book and the Library. Please note that all ages are welcome to attend, although the stories will be geared for a younger audience.
