"Moon Expedition 2024 - Live Virtual Program" at La Salle Publc Library

On Tuesday, July 7th, at 6:00 p.m. the La Salle Public Library will host, virtually, NASA Solar System Ambassador, James Joel Knapper, when presents, "Moon Expedition, 2024." 

After an absence of over fifty years, American astronauts, including the first woman astronaut, will soon return to the surface of the Moon in 2024.  In this virtual program, Joel will discuss why and how America will return to the lunar surface.  At the conclusion of the program, the virtual audience will be able to ask Joel questions via live chat.   

This program is absolutely free and open to the public.   It will be presented in a live virtual format, using Zoom software.  Interested individuals don't need to have a Zoom account to attend.   If interested in attending, please email Rachel Blomquist at rblomquist@lasalle.lib.il.us or call the Library at 815-223-2341.  An email confirmation will be sent containing the program link and instructions on viewing.
