"A Holiday Surprise...Buddy the Elf" at La Salle Public Library

On Saturday, November 23rd, at 11:00 a.m., the La Salle Public Library will host, in partnership with Illinois Valley Community College's Theatre Department, Buddy the Elf.  Direct from Santa's North Pole Workshop, Buddy will be ready to share a holiday story with Library patrons.  Additionally, Buddy will answer those important holiday mysteries like being an elf, Santa, the North Pole workshop and the reindeer.   Buddy will also pose for photos.  Refreshments will be served.  All children attending the program, will receive a gift book to take home.   

This program is free and open to the public.  Children under the age of 8 years old must be accompanied by a responsible adult.  This program in is partnership with Illinois valley Community College's Theatre Department as they kick off the holidays with their production of "Elf-The Broadway Musical," which opens on Thursday, November 21st.   The La Salle Public Library is located at 305 Marquette Street, La Salle, and is ADA compliant and welcoming.   For more information, please contact the Library at 815.223-2341.
