"STEM Challenge: Tracking the Moon" at the La Salle Public Library

On Wednesday, July 17th, at 10:30 a.m. the La Salle Public Library will host, "STEM Challenge: Tracking the Moon," for youth ages 6 and up.   

In this hands-on science activity, participants will better understand the phases of the Moon-why they occur whether the Moon is waxing or waning, and why the tides are stronger at the New Moon and Full Moon. 

This program is free and open to the public but does require registration and is limited to 20 participants.   To register, please call the Library at 815-223-2341, or visit the website or the Library Facebook page for online registration.   The La Salle Public Library is located at 305 Marquette St., La Salle.
