"STEM" Activities for Youth" at La Salle Library
On Tuesdays, June 5th, June 12th, June 19th, June 26th, July 3rd, July 24th, and July 31st, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. the La Salle Public Library will host facilitators from the University of Illinois Extension Office 4-H when they lead STEM discovery workshops especially for youth ages 5 through 18 years.
Participants will engage in hands-on activities that focus on science, technology, engineering and math; youth will problem solve, get messy, see how art plays a role in scientific understanding, and even get to interact with some robots.
This program is free and open to the public, but registration is limited to 30 participants per session. Children under age 8 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. For more information, please contact the Library at 815-223-2341.
