"Suca the Hearing Ear Dog" at the La Salle Public Library

On Thursday, September 27th at 6:00 p.m. the La Salle Public Library will host Tania Hess, Librarian at Plainfield Public Library, when she brings her Hearing Ear Dog, Suca, to the La Salle Library. 

In this unique and informative program for adults and youth, Tania will share the many ways that Suca is special-from her name to her specialized training as a service animal.   The audience will find out the difference between a therapy dog and a service dog and learn the "touch" command, plus other basic commands that they can do with their own dogs.   Tania will answer audience questions at the conclusion of the program.
