"Monday Arts & Crafts" at La Salle Library

The La Salle Public Library will be hosting an Arts & Crafts day on Mondays, June 11th, June 18th, June 25th, July 2nd, July 9th, July 16th, July 23rd, and July 30th from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.  Activities, while supplies last, are especially for youth ages 6 years through teens. 

Activities on June 11th, July 2nd, and July 9th will be facilitated by Lina Volker from Girl Scouts of Central Illinois.  On June 11th participants will create three-dimensional faces, using imagination and paper.   

Activities for July are still being planned. Activities on June 18th, June 25th, July 16th, July 23rd, and July 30th will be facilitated by the Library Youth Services staff.   Projects include watercolour "Water Reflections," "Continuous Line Abstract," "Collage and Ink Gardens," "Big Red Nose Bookmarks," and "Make a Photo Frame".  For some projects, younger artists may need a bit of grown-up help.
