New Later Start Time - Project Next Generation Registration, Ages 11-14
Registration is still available for middle school students interested in participating in Project Next Generation, a humanities and STEM learning program hosted by the La Salle Public Library and Illinois Valley Community College. The program will launch February 26th and will meet after school, once a week, for eight weeks, on either a Monday or a Thursday. The collaboration with IVCC has made it possible to offer a new, later start time for the two-hour sessions, especially for students, who have later school dismissal times. Participating students will need to be at either location between 3:30 p.m. and 3:45 p.m. so that classes can begin promptly at 4:00 p.m.
This program is free and open to all students, ages 11 through 14, including home-school students. Participation, however, is limited to a total of 20 students. For more information or to complete registration, a student and his/her parent/guardian should contact Library Director, Cristy Stupegia, at 815-223-2341.
