"Book Page Pumpkins at the La Salle Library
On Saturday, October 5th, at 10:30 a.m. and, again at 2:00 p.m. the La Salle Public Library will host pumpkin-painting family weekend workshops for youth ages 5 years and up. In these creative workshops, participants transform a small pumpkin into a character from a book of their choice by using a variety of craft materials. Imagination and creativity are underscored in this fun, fall event.
All supplies will be furnished. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. This program is free, open to the public, and is made possible through funding from District 122 La Salle Schools, but due to space is limited to 30 children per workshop. Each workshop will run an hour and a half, and will begin promptly at 10:30 a.m. until Noon, and at 2:00 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. Registration via phone, in-person, or online is required no later than Thursday, October 3rd, at 8:00 p.m. The La Salle Public Library is located at 305 Marquette Street, La Salle.
