City of LaSalle is taking applications for an economic development director |
The Economic Development Director plans, organizes, and directs activities to enhance economic development in the City of LaSalle.
This position is responsible for the development and implementation of economic development plans, programs, and services for a variety of development and redevelopment activities, including monitoring business activity, business retention, business recruitment, brokering redevelopment projects, downtown redevelopment and attracting new business through new development and annexation. Serves as staff liaison to the mayor and council committees and other authorities relating to development activities. Works under the general direction of the mayor. Works as part of a team with other city staff to promote and enhance the city.
Looking for an individual with five (5) years of experience in public or private business, real estate, or economic development with experience in managing complex projects.
