Save the date for Celebrate LaSalle, the City's annual 4-day community festival. This year, Celebrate LaSalle will begin on Wednesday, June 4th, and end Saturday, June 7th. Additional information will be posted as it becomes available. You may also visit LPAC's Facebook page for the latest details.

The LaSalle Promotional & Advisory Committee (LPAC) is a volunteer organization whose mission is "to celebrate and promote the City of LaSalle... and to unite the residents, businesses, and city officials of LaSalle to enhance our community." LPAC organizes 4 community events each year, including:

1. Irish Fun Day -- held the Saturday before St. Patrick's Day in March
2. Celebrate LaSalle -- a 4-day community event held the first week(end) of June
3. Our Hometown Halloween -- held the Saturday before Halloween in October
4. Miracle on 1st Street -- held the first Saturday of December

In the Fall of 2013, LPAC members traveled to Springfield to compete for the annual Governor's Hometown Award. The City of LaSalle was honored for its volunteerism by receiving a Hometown Award, and was also selected as a finalist for the Governor's Cup. You may view the presentation to learn about all the great work carried out by volunteers to plan the four annual community events sponsored by LPAC. Visit LPAC's Facebook page to learn more!
